Free Diary/Journal software? I have been searching for some free journal software online without any success, ive been mislead a few times sites claiming its free but turns out to be just a trial. The closest i have come is a downloadable template for microsoft word, but it was only for 2007, and i have office 2003. Anywho, if anyone knows where i can find it that would be great.

Journal software/website? I used to use xanga as my journal, it was great when I was a teen but now I want to maintain a more in depth and perhaps more personal journal. I intend to continue blogging my random thoughts online but since I left xanga I have hopped around quite a lot, not being able to find a true ideal solution for my blogging needs. Because I write about a LOT of different items I want to be able to not only classify postings, but also be able to reference by date. I would much rather use software as opposed to a website but MS word or other word processors are far too limited in their abilities to deliver what I'm looking for. I am sure I am not the first to face such a dilemma, what do you do? PS: Paper and voice are out of the question. My handwriting is terrible and it would be terribly difficult to classify and search audio.

What software can I use to enter every journal entry I've ever written? (See description please.)? Okay, so, I enjoy writing very much. I have always written... as long as I can remember. When I was young, I kept a diary. When I got around thirteen, I started keeping a journal which I still consider a lot more serious because that was when I started writing about stuff that actually mattered. After that, I got a livejournal, which I kept for about four years. Then, I switched to Facebook and have almost 200 notes on there--almost 500 pages worth in Micrsoft Word. I also have many poems saved as Word Documents and written on notebook paper, and all sort of writings scattered here and there on papers in my room, in notebooks, etc., and currently, on top of Facebook, I keep a prayer journal, a dream journal, and a poem/short story idea journal. I would really love to be able to put all of these writings into one software program that could be sorted by date, maybe on a calendar or something. I want to be able to backdate everything to the date that I wrote it. What program could I use? @ Skeptic.. that is NOT what I want to do. I don't want anything to do with Microsoft or Microsoft Word. At the very LEAST, if I don't get any other answers that will help, I'm going to be buying this software called "The Journal" (http://www.davidrm.com/) unless I find something better. How to cover my deleted Journal from the repair guy at Circut City? My laptop has had a power surge and I'm going to have to take it in to be repaired. BUT, I'm terrified to bring it in. Because I've keep my journal on there, and have since deleted a few dozen entries after backing them up on the desk top. But then I remembered that you can still see deleted files. I've heard of overwriting deleted files by deleting ALOT more.
