Where can I find a good, free diary software?

I downloaded 'Advanced Diary' & 'FreshOutline' . But I can't run them as my computer shows an error message saying that setup files are corrupted.

3. I would suggest using a private online system called Pyxlin. It does cost $1.67 per month, but you get unlimited journal backup and photos. I use this because I know what it feels like to loose everything to a computer crash. Also if you use Pyxlin you can publish your journal into a hardbound book! Just a suggestion.
