Can I get diary software for my computer?

1. microsoft word....or word pad or notepad and I believe vista comes with a "sticky note" application

3. There are several diary softwares out there, but I would suggest switching your personal journal to the Internet (something like Pyxlin for a personal journal or WordPress for a public blog). Here are some reasons why: 1) If you computer crashes (and computers OFTEN crash) the you loose everything. With good online journals your information is completely backed up. 2) If you have a natural disaster (say some things like Katrina seem to be getting more common) you also loose everything. Once again, online it is safe. 3) Online you can access it when you are not at home. I am in Brazil, and I write in my Pyxlin journal here while I am studying. So those are the reasons I have switched my personal journal online.
