  1. Good system for daily computing but not as good for gaming because the graphics card (GPU) is only 256mb. Under 700dollars (aussie dollars) then get it(tower only). EDIT: whoops misread. for 300 dollars, you can't go wrong.
  2. its worth it
  3. getting a computer with that for only 300 dollars.... thats a good deal.
  4. In my opinion its not worth it, but that is because I build my own computers and I need a High-End Computer. If you want a low budget computer this is the thing for you! If you want to play games and use heavy computer programs this is not the computer you want. + Nice price for a low budget computer. + Front USB ports + 3Gb of RAM, they don't mention what type (800Mhz will be most likely) + 750Gb HDD, they don't mention RPM tho + Complete pack, Computer + Monitor + Keyboard & Mouse - Windows Vista installed (I would recommend to instal Windows 7 or Windows XP, Vista reduces your performance) - Videocard is not made for gaming - 15inch monitor, normaly the 19inch is standard. I prefer my 24inch monitor tho :P
  5. For $300 it's good. It's a good buy considering you're getting a 750 gig hard drive and 3 gig of memory. The LCD is small but should be okay. Graphics card isn't high end but you could probably play some decent games on it. Hate the operating system. I never did like Vista. If you can, upgrade to Window 7 or downgrade to Window XP. The software bundle isn't that great. They should at least install Microsoft Office 2007 but for $300 it good enough for everyday use just make sure you have a decent Firewall/Antivirus software.
  6. i have been buying computers for many years now. and i think it is better to have a computer shop as a friend. because buying packaged branded computer systems like hp and dell can be cheap to some people. but to computer shop owners, they are actually more expensive. i think for the same price, you can pick the parts that you like, then have the shop people assemble your system for you for a fee. windows vista is so annoying to use. and i am pc person. use windows 7 instead. for an oem copy, i think it just costs less than $160. then you dont really need all of those software. the drivers go with your hardware. then the most useful is microsoft office. most of those microsoft apps are offered free to download via the internet like windows live essentials. another microsoft that is free is security essential, which is the best antivirus right now. the only problem is if you live in the usa. because the us market is so developed that you just see the big players like hp and dell, and there is little choice for the consumers to choose from.
  7. Worth it!
