Is there a software programe which creates a diary?

Hi iam looking for a program that will creat a diary on my desk top. Any one know of one

1. Word will do this as you can download a free template
2. There are callendars included in e mail programs like outlook , lotus notes , incredimail etc. Im not sure if this is what you were looking for but i use mine as a diary.
