Palm desktop like software for blackberry?

What software is available for Blackberry devices that functions similarly to Palm Desktop? I love Palm Desktop but i'm also really interested in the new Blackberry's. Software is more important for me than hardware. I am attached to the way i can edit my calendar, contacts, notes, and tasks with Palm Desktop on my computer and then sync them up to my palm device, and want to translate this kind of functionality over to a blackberry. If so, can anyone direct me to a link where I can download the software and try it out? Thanks in advance!!

1. Blackberry has Desktop Manager that allows you to sync your calendar, to do list, task, music, pictures etc. It will sync from multiple computers. At work I sync with my PC and at home it syncs to my Mac. It only connects the phone to your files so you have to use Outlook for your calendar.
