Desktop Calendar Software

Is there any software that can stop my computers clock / calendar?

I need my computer to "think" that time is not passing. Very thankful for any help you can offer.

  1. It depends on why you want to do this. Programs do exist that will slow/stop your operating system clock (which will fool some programs). However, other programs may read the tick count which cannot easily be forged.
  2. I dont think thats possible, you could pop your cmos battery and it will reset everytime you turn off your comp, but you will get an error at POST and ms updates wont work as well as other problems WILL arise. plus the trial program you are trying to extend will probabally not like the change in date, nor will your antivirus's subscriptions
  3. The clock continues to tick no matter what... do you remember the the big Y2K problem? However, you can reset your computer clock time to an earlier date. If you don't want your computer to reset to the correct time automatically, then you need to uncheck the "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server" box on the Internet Time tab under the Date and Time Properties settings (for XP and later). Good luck.
  4. It's a program called ...Microsoft Windows XP "Hit IT WITH A HAMMER"
